Supporting LONG ROWID_OBJECT values in Informatica MDM
ROWID_OBJECT is the primary key of all the Base Objects in Informatica MDM and by default it is a system generated CHAR(14) value.This should not be changed unless there is a situation of accomodating huge amount of data in Base Object.If the number of records exceeds 12 digits,we have to expilicitly enable it to support LONG.
How to do it :
1)Edit the cmxcleanse.properties file and update the cmx.server.bmg.use_longs=1.

I think there is a need to utilise more of such tools as informatica and look forward to more aspects.
