An ORS(Operational Reference Store) can be created and configured in three steps.
1)Create the ORS
In the Administrator command prompt go to the location <Informatica MDM Database Files>\database\bin and type sip_ant.bat create_ors

Hi Bru,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post . Very good details. Worked like a charm. Good directions.
we resolved Chainlu's issue today, maybe it helps for your issue as well.
The export format template had a mandatory variable configured with no default value set. For the export to show up in web, any mandatory variable has to have a value. Hope this helps.
Once again thanks for your tutorial.
Many Thanks,
Morgan

Hi Varsha,
ReplyDeleteThat’s really cool…. I followed these instructions and it was like boom… it worked well.
A faster way to create a basic mapping in MDM is by using the “Auto Mapping” button that automatically maps landing and staging columns with the same name.
Update for BO or XREF? If the trust is less than what it is already have, then it will update XREF and not BO.
By the way do you have any YouTube videos, would love to watch it. I would like to connect you on LinkedIn, great to have experts like you in my connection (In case, if you don’t have any issues).
Please keep providing such valuable information.
Thank you,
Kelly
Hi Varsha,
ReplyDeleteNice tutorial! Let's keep our fingers crossed that this works. I would like to put this all to rest.
I am moving data from source to target table. Target table particular column has less length defined than source and because of it, truncation happens and tasks fails. We have defined the recovery strategy on failure to resume from last check point. Informatica MDM Training On failure , we fix the source data , and start the task in recovery but it fails again pointing to the same source record which we fixed it. Not sure why its not taking the updated data from source.
Anyways great write up, your efforts are much appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Irene Hynes
